Slideshow: L.A.vation Lifts Crowd At Concert In The Park

The U2 Cover Band closes out the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series.

Hundreds of people turned out at the Seal Beach Pier Park to hear U2 cover band L.A.vation on Wednesday. Many in the audience arrived as early as 5:30am to mark their space with chairs and caution tape.

As they have all summer, locals staked out their spot on the grass at Eisenhower Park in the early morning Wednesday for a good place to watch the band play. By 6 p.m. several hundred people overflowed from the little park overlooking the pier.

Some of the bands that performed this year included Southland Mega Groove, Sgt. Pepper, Urban Dread, Monkeys with Fire, The King Salmon Band, Robby Armstrong, Eddie Montana, Elm Street Band, and L.A.vation.
