Slideshow: 1,400 Volunteers Swarmed Seal Beach forCalifornia Coastal Cleanup Day

There was no shortage of volunteers Saturday to help keep the coast clean.

More than 1,400 volunteers came out to Seal Beach to help with the California Coastal Cleanup Day Saturday. The annual beach and inland waterway cleanup, is the state's largest volunteer event. Volunteers picked up discarded recyclables, bags and Styrofoam while walking along the sand and jetty in Seal Beach.
