Thousands Flock to Main Street for Seal Beach Christmas Parade

A little bit of 'snow' and a lot of volunteers helped bring some holiday spirit to Old Town.

Ho, ho, ho.

Thousands turned out Friday for the 34th Annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade.

"This is the biggest turnout I've ever seen," said Assistant City Manager SeanCrumby, who has been with the city since 2005.

Organizers expected more than 14,000 people to attend.

The parade had music, Santa and even some "snow."

Please check out some of our photos of the event.

We'd love to have some of your pics, too.

Just click the "Upload Photos and Videos" if you want to include some of your snapshots.

Oh, and please tell us in the comments if you add a photo. That way we can try to feature it.

What an incredible event. So much joy, happiness and community spirit. It was an honor and privilege to serve as this year's grand marshal. I really hope that people are sure to thank Scott Newton, the Lions, the Chamber of Commerce and the City for all they do to make the event what it was. Also, the thousands of participants were amazing. Special personal thanks to my partner, Anthony Morgan; Vince Bodiford & Rolls Royce; Beach Fitness (especially Bryce & Barb), Jim Klisanin for his holiday party; Main Street Cyclery & Aaron Perez for coordinating the group, Crema Cafe & Whole Body Vibe for the great outpouring of support and my mom, Marcia Brashier and my papa Jim for being there. What a day! Still giddy from the joy of it all.

What a great parade! I've seen over 30 and I used to march in it with my 2 daughter's girl scout troops, but this year I watched my grandsons march with their boy scout den. So 3 generations of my family have been in this parade!

Are you kidding? Every heard of Freedom of speech? There should be more like him. This country isRead More going to hell in a handbag quite fast. We are ruining this country for our children and leaving the biggest mess ever... Kudos to Snowden..... You gave up everything to be honest and tell it like it is!!!

This man has a rare quality, courage. Unlike the fool in office and his minions. If you thinkRead More the Constitution is a joke, you see him as bad. If you want to be spied on by your own government, Snowden is bad. Courage is missing in the states. The military have it but not the majority of our mediocre citizens.
