Rescue Pet of the Week: Valentine

Thought Feb. 14 is long gone, here's a doggy who wants to be your sweetheart anyway.

A five-year-old gray-and-white female pitbull terrier, Valentine is Long Beach Animal Care Services' Animal Rescue Pet of the Week. 

LBACS provides animal control for Los Alamitos and Seal Beach in addition to Long Beach. 

"Here’s one Valentine that didn’t get delivered," said Belinda Takayama with LBACS in an email. "She’s slightly shy, but becomes immediately friendly once you approach her." 

To meet Valentine, ask for ID A487875 on the shelter side of the Companion Animal Village at 7700 East Spring Street.
