Pelican Air Force Grounded Due to Rain
Local pelicans hold a get-together in Seal Beach.
In all my years as a bird nerd here in Seal Beach, I have never seen the pelicans huddled together in a flock like this.
It's a sight to behold. Intrepid Patch photographer Walt Weis captured this picture Sunday after some dastardly Patch editor asked him to shoot the rain.
