Operation Snuggle Receives Generous Donation

Garden Grove's Church of Latter Day Saints provides stuffed toys and blankets

Los Alamitos Medical Center’s Operation Snuggle started 13 years ago with the simple idea to provide much needed comfort to the children who came through the emergency department. Recently, the generous people at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Garden Grove donated new stuffed animals for the patients and handmade lap blankets for the cancer center patients. Chairperson Eileen Rose was instrumental in facilitating the donation.

Over the years the Operation Snuggle program has expanded to not only children, but also to patients that just need a little extra tender loving care. Along with providing food scripts from local grocery stores for financially less fortunate patients, Operation Snuggle also provides crayons, coloring books, playing cards, and brain teaser books.
