Valerie Marie Ibarra was the first baby born in Los Alamitos in 2012. The beautiful girl was born just before 3 a.m. New Year’s Day at the Los Alamitos Medical Center.
The Los Alamitos High School Girls Basketball team might want to keep tabs on this one. Weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces, baby Valerie is taller than the average newborn girl at 19.5 inches long.
