Los Al Workers Give 'Angel' Program a Hand

Medical center employees' toy drive will benefit kids who have been neglected, abused or put in foster care. The effort got a boost of toys from members of an LAHS club.

Los Alamitos Medical Center workers got others to help spread Christmas joy during their recent toy drive.

The effort benefited the OC Health Care Agency’s Angel Tags program, which distributes donations to children who have been neglected, abandoned, abused or placed in foster care in Orange County.

Helping in the drive was Los Alamitos High School's California Scholarship Federation, whose members made donations. Alaina Liu and Claire Akashi delivered a carful of toys donated by club members.
