Boo!
Did we scare you? Good, we weren’t trying to.
We were, however, hoping to write a Halloween-related beginning to this story.
If you’ve got some little monsters who want candy, the Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department is holding it’s first “Trunk or Treat."
The free event takes place at Laurel Park from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Basically locals will fill the trunks of their cars with candy, and kids will walk by– dressed in costume, of course -- and get goodies.
The event will also include a costume contest, games, inflatable rides and a treasure hunt.
There will also be a contest for the best decorated vehicle trunk.
All ages are welcome.
The event is sponsored by the Los Alamitos Senior Club, Costco, Duke & Duchess, Islands restaurant and Vans.
For more information call 562-430-1073 or visit http://cityoflosalamitos.org/recreation/?page_id=34
