Calling Seal Beach, “the perfect Beach town,” Fox 11 News recently delved into Seal Beach’s ban on new short-term vacation rentals.
In November, the city banned new vacation rentals in Old Town following neighbor complaints about garbage, noise and carousing.
However, many property owners say restricting vacation rentals infringes on their rights and the rentals don’t cause as many problems, as critics allege. One such owner has filed a lawsuit against the city.
