Get Ready: Seal Beach Freeway Closures

Seal Beach Boulevard's overpass across the 405 will be closed Sunday night through Monday morning.

Overnight freeway closures will complicate predawn commutes in the Baldwin Park and Seal Beach areas this weekend, according to Caltrans and Orange County Metro officials.

In the San Gabriel Valley, the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway will be closed from the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway east to Puente Avenue from 11 p.m. saturday until 7 a.m. Sunday. The westbound 10 Freeway will be
closed, starting at Puente Avenue, from 11:59 Saturday until 4 a.m. Sunday.

Numerous ramps at the 10/605 interchange will also be closed, starting
at 6 p.m. Saturday.

In northwest Orange County, two freeways heading toward Long Beach will
be closed Sunday night. Both the northbound San Diego (405) and westbound
Garden Grove (22) freeways will be closed just before midnight Sunday night,
until 5 a.m. Monday.

Those closures will start at the 405 and 22 freeways' Valley View Street
exits, and continue west on the combined 22/405 to Seal Beach Boulevard.

And Sunday night, the transition ramp from eastbound Route 22 in Long
Beach to the northbound 605 will close at 11 p.m., to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

The southbound connectors from routes 405 and 605 to westbound
Route 22 will also be closed from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

And Seal Beach Boulevard's overpass across the 405 will be closed Sunday
night through Monday morning.
