Gas Prices Drop After Nine Days of Consecutive Increases

 The average price of regular self-serve gasoline in Orange County dropped six-tenths of a cent Monday for the second consecutive day to $4.091. The price is 2.1 cents more than one week ago and 31 cents higher than one year ago, but 2.7 cents less than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

A nine-day streak of increases ended Saturday when the price remained unchanged. 

The price per gallon of regular gasoline in Orange County is still well above the national average of $3.67, according to GasBuddy.com, so shop wisely.
