To mark Diabetes Awareness Month, Los Alamitos Medical Center will conduct free glucose screenings Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fasting isn’t necessary, but it provides better results, according to the center. The screenings will be in Feiwell Courtyard, right in front of the hospital lobby, at 3751, Katella Ave., Los Alamitos.
You don’t need an appointment, but the center asks that those who plan toparticipate call (800) 548-5559 so that it can staff accordingly.
