Los Altos United Methodist Church Plans Palm Sunday Activities

(Long Beach, CA, March 20, 2012)

 

Los Altos United Methodist Church, 5950 East Willow Street, Long Beach will provide Palm Sunday worship opportunities on Sunday, April 1 at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Each service will feature the children of the congregation participating in the procession of the palms.   Senior Minister, Mark Ulrickson’s sermon topic is “Love Language: A Special Table.”  The Preschool children will sing at the 11:00 service. 

Following the 11:00 service, the church will host the annual Palm Sunday picnic.  A hot dog lunch will be provided, followed by crafts and an Easter egg hunt. Admission is free. Contact the church office at (562) 598-2451 for additional information.
