Three other people, including a man and his son, were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Luong said.

One person was evaluated and treated at the scene but declined to be taken to a hospital, Gonzales said.

The driver of the SUV -- who is in his 70s, according to ABC7 -- and a woman who was a passenger in the vehicle were not injured, Luong said.
