Five things to start off your Tuesday in Los Alamitos and Seal Beach.

Here are five things to start off your Tuesday in Los Alamitos and Seal Beach:

  1. The Seal Beach City Council on Tuesday will decide the final fate of what has become a controversial ordinance change that bans all pigs within the city limits. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. See what Bubba's owner has to say about the ordinance here
  2. Los Alamitos High School will cut the ribbon to its brand new track and sports complex Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. The $4-million project includes a new track, athletic field, bleachers and stadium lighting.
  3. The Orange County Transportation Authority on Friday voted unanimously to delay a decision on a controversial plan to add toll lanes to the 405 Freeway. Citing a need to gather more information and reach out to local cities, the OCTA said it will discuss the plan again at its Dec. 9 meeting.
  4. Seal Beach kicks off its restaurant week today with a host of local restaurants offering up special menus and discounts for the week. See a list of participating restaurants and their specials here
